I have heard a few rumors from industry people that Nike Golf is planning on adding a few new faces to their PGA staff list. The two names that I have heard are Chad Campbell and Justin Leonard. Nike is in need of a few solid tour players if you ask me. They lack the depth of quality “big name players” that other competing companies have. After Tiger (who has dropped to #3 in the world), David Duval (who has fallen off the face of the earth in recent years), Stewart Cink (a very solid player but lacks the “big name”) who else do they have?

Sonartec is quietly making a name for themselves on tour. They received some great advertising when Todd Hamilton used one of their clubs to win the Open Championship back in July. Their website only lists a few staff players but take a look at a Darrell Survey sometime and just see how many of their clubs are actually in play. Check out www.sonartec.com for more details. They are far and away the best clubs that no one knows about!

Watch for a new MacGregor satin blade soon. I saw some pictures of it in one of the golf magazines today and they look really nice.
