Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by. It’s become a bit of a tradition for companies to release limited edition items for each of the four Majors and we’re starting to get a sneak peak at what’s to come from Callaway and Nike Golf.
Callaway is using the upcoming Masters to honor Gary Player as he plays in his 50th tournament at Augusta National. Each of the ten Callaway players in the field will carry the limited edition black and gold staff bag. Each bag also features Player’s Black Knight logo. Only ten of these bags were made so don’t expect to see them in your local shop anytime soon!
Nike Golf is also getting into the act and has announced a limited edition TW SP-8 line featuring one shoe for each of the four Majors. Tiger’s Masters shoe is white with a dark green swoosh. Each shoe features a “TW 10″ logo… symbolizing his 10 years of “major championship dominance”. The other Major colors are:
U.S. Open – carmel/bronze
The Open Championship – black/varsity crimson
The PGA Championship – white/black dusty red
These will be available in select shops and you can even stop by the Nike Golf website and enter to win a shoe signed by Tiger.
