A quick update before I go to work… yes I work on Saturdays! I got an email this morning from a reader who followed Fred Couples on Thursday at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and he can confirm what I wrote yesterday. Couples is back playing TaylorMade irons and a R510 driver.One other note when I was going through the leaderboard… my guy Darren Clarke is playing (and contending). Why is this a big deal? It is only his second tournament of the year… his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and Clarke wanted to take the whole year off to be with her but she said no. So cheer for your guy all you want… but maybe cheer a bit for Darren too!
