No player has ever put more Olineman on their ass. He’d take the biggest strongest guy on the opposing team and literally just throw him away. Insane stuff. Through his first 9 seasons, he played 137 games and got 137 sacks. No one has ever come close to that.

Absolute dog. From a Vikings fan.

IMHO he’s the greatest player the NFL has ever seen. Played DE and DT at a HOF level, had a career twice as long as normal, was fast, was strong, and had the technique to go with it. His sack numbers and pass rush highlights overshadow the fact that he is probably the best run-stopping DL to ever play. Even Barry Sanders used to decide on the fly to run away from Reggie’s side.

#91 rookie Reggie was a monster
Legit question for the oldheads that watched both: LT or Reggie for top defender all time? Has any guy since challenged them (Watt and Donald come to mind)?

For linebackers, Derrick Thomas was a beast. Bruce Smith was a different type of D lineman. He would win with technique, speed, and flexibility. Reggie would just overpower people.
