Kikkor Golf Gets a Big Break

Good morning everyone! Golf equipment aficionados might want to tune into the new season of Big Break starting in October as Kikkor Golf founder James Lepp is one of the contestants on the Greenbrier edition. James was a very highly regarded amateur player here in Canada and had some success on the Canadian Tour as well. Lepp took a bit of a break from the game a few years back and started Kikkor Golf. I’m a big fan of Kikkor and own a pair of their shoes (and no… I didn’t get them for free… I bought them).

You can catch James in action tonight when the Golf Channel airs a special preview episode. The new season kicks off on October 2nd. The Golf Channel website also has rundown of the contestants. The 6’6″, 300lbs biker-looking guy with tattoos from Folsom is hard to miss. He looks like a pretty cool guy in his bio video but his pictures are a bit intimidating. A piece of advice for James – maybe let him win…

In honor of International Talk Like a Pirate Day, I was hoping to find a video of James performing some of his trick golf shots while talking like a pirate. Shockingly (not that shocking actually), no such video exists. I guess this one will have to do…
