The only thing better than actually playing mini-golf is sitting on your couch, and controlling robots while they play mini-golf. Amirite?!?
Good news! We found a place where you can do just that. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
I recently came across OneShot Golf while on TikTok (yes.. I’m on TikTok, no I don’t post on TikTok) and I just had to try it out. The concept is pretty cool. They have created a series of themed mini-golf holes, each one equipped with a live web camera and a putting robot. Using the OneShot Golf app, players can move the robot and around and line it up, select shot strength, and then shoot. If the ball goes in, the golfer is awarded points. Those with the most points on the leaderboard have a chance to win daily prizes like gift cards and points that can be redeemed for more plays and merchandise. Players are given a limited number of free plays each day but can purchase more.
Considering all of the logistics (the robots, the clearing of balls, the cameras, etc.), I’ve found the gameplay experience very smooth. It’s a fun way to kill some time, despite the fact that I lack overall robot mini-golf ability.
Lately, I’ve been drawn to the Water World course. I’m starting to figure out some of the little nuances of some of the holes. Watch for me on the leaderboard… towards the bottom.
Let’s be honest. Robots are probably going to take over the world someday… but if they let us play mini-golf, will it really be that bad?
I loved this game one of the best golfing games ever
