Move over Odyssey, there’s a new shape in town – the square. Cleveland recently launched a new putter that’s got quite the two-ball look to it. The new mallet putter, called the TFI (True Feel Innovation) Smart Square putter, is said to be the most advanced putter Cleveland has ever made.
The putter is made up of copper-infused face cap over a copolymer insert (yes, thats a mouthful) for feel off the face. The putter also includes the classic Odyssey wing and a low density aluminum body to help increase the MOI and keep the ball on-line. A two-square layout on the face is said to better frame the ball and create perpendicular lines towards a golfers target to help them better align themselves and have more confidence behind the ball. No word if Cleveland plans to add new models and shafting options as of yet.
