Hey everyone thanks for stopping by this evening. Available to pre-order now and in stores in early February – the new 588 Custom line is a step above the previously released 588 Altitude line. This new line, offers all the bells and whistles better players and tour pros expect, with a great price to boot. Here’s the nitty gritty and some pictures:
The new 588 Custom driver is 460CC titanium head, with an adjustable hosel that offers 12 different settings to customize your loft, lie and face angle. The hosel allows you to adjust your loft and lie by 3 degrees and face angle by 4.5. The back of the sole also offers an interchangeable weight to optimize trajectory. The clubface also features enhance variable face thickness designed to create the ‘hot’ feeling on impact. Stock shaft is a premium Matrix OZIK 6Q3 shaft, and comes with a $349.99 pricetag.
The 588 Fairway wood line-up, is not quite as customizable as the driver (no adjustable hosel), but features the same shaft, similar face tech for forgiveness on off-center hits, but with a tour proven low-profile design. The 588 Fairway is available in lofts of 14.0°, 15.5°, 18.0° and 20.5° and retails at $199 a piece.
The 588 hybrids also feature the same variable face thickness for forgiveness, but also the Gliderail Technology to help with solid contact from any lie. The hybrids also feature a sole plug to help lower the center of gravity on these hybrids and improve playability. The 588 hybrid feature a premium Matrix OZIK Altus shaft, and come in 18.0°, 20.5°, 23.0° and 26.0°. These stick retail at $169 a piece.
