Alright, a bit of a hangover and Lynyrd Skynyrd on the PVR dictate that this will be a quick post today so lets get to it.

But first off, for all the Guitar Heroes out there I have one thing to say.  Rock Band.  This could be the greatest video game this side of Mike Tyson's Punch Out.  The concept is pretty simple, find yourself a singer, drummer, guitar player, and bass player and you've got yourself a band.  Throw in some Jack Daniels and a few gigs and you are rocking out in no time.  Now to find the rock & roll groupies…

Ok, I don't really understand the PGA's new non-playing cut rules and apparently a number of players don't either, click here for more.  Thanks to this new rule a few of the notables including John Daly and Brad Faxon won't be around for the weekend at the Sony Open.  Not that I will be paying a lot of attention with the best football weekend of the year upon us.  Here are some quick picks…

Seattle at Green Bay is the first game of the weekend.  While I like the Seahawks I just don't see them as a good road team and going to Lambeau Field is always tough in the playoffs.  I think Green Bay wins this one fairly easily, 34 – 13.

New England against Jacksonville should be a little more intriguing.  Jacksonville is starting to get a lot of attention as everybody's favorite underdog but, as much as I would love to see them knock of the Patriots, I just don't see it happening.  Garrard won't be able to put up enough points to keep this close.  New England 28 Jax 19.

Indy should be able to get through the Chargers to give us another AFC Super Bowl showdown this year.  Manning 41 LT and co. 27.

And finally, the Giants head to Dallas to take on Tony Romeo and the Cowboys.  Here is Michael Strahan's take on Romo's relationship with Jessica Simpson.  I say good for Tony Romo and I don't think Jessica Simpson will have any outcome on the result of this game.  Dallas 20 New York 14.

And finally, there are rumors floating around that Tony Romo's love interest may have a new movie role calling for full frontal.  Stay tuned for updates.
