Hey everyone… I’m on my way out the door to enjoy a Friday night but thought I’d quickly pass along a few odds and ends that came our way today.
Cobra Golf has introduced two new hybrids… the Baffler DWS (6 lofts available) and Baffler Pro (4 lofts available). The DWS is a refined version of the current hybrid… a bit more forgiving and a bit longer than the one on the market now. By the way… DWS stands for Dual Weighting System. The club features heel and toe weights that lower the center of gravity and increase the MOI. The Baffler Pro has a weight screw that allows for swingweight customization, a longer hosel, neutral weighting and reduced offset. The stock shafts for the Pro will be Dynamic Gold steel and Fujikura Speeder Baffler Pro graphite. I really like the looks of these! Watch for them September 1st.
We had a question about the Mitsubishi Diamana White shaft. This shaft is being tested on the JPGA right now and we should see it at a retail level in 2007. Not much is known right now… but it will feature a much stiffer tip. We’ll pass along more as we get it!
That’s all for now… have a great night and we’ll talk to you soon!
