The fourth and final major of the year is upon us. I think the PGA is my favorite North American major. There is always high drama and the courses always play tough but fair. This year we are back at Medinah which means we are about to be bombarded with clips of Sergio and Tiger. Scissor-kicks, fist pumps, and really good golf.

I think it would be pretty foolish to bet against Tiger at this point. In fact I just picked him over the field for $20. He’s won his last two starts on very different golf courses and seems to be back in his 2000 mindset where nobody can beat him. Tiger will pick up major number 12 this week.

I expect Geoff Ogilvy will quietly move his way into another top ten finish. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see another good young Aussie by the name of Adam Scott to have a good week if his putter holds up.

The course is set up as the longest in major history and should be a good test. The PGA is always exciting, in fact, I might even call in sick tomorrow to watch the first round.
