It’s official… the Cleveland HiBore hybrid will begin shipping August 1st! Looks like the new club will carry a MSRP of $235 U.S. for graphite and $210 U.S. for steel. The company has been able to move even more weight to the back of the clubhead… resulting in an even higher MOI and a lower center of gravity. The hybrid will feature a lot of the same technologies as the HiBore driver and fairway wood. The pictures I’ve seen are of the sole so I can’t really tell how different this club will be in comparison to the current Halo. The graphics on the bottom of the club are very similar to that of the HiBore driver.
No word yet on shaft options and lofts but we hope to round up some more info on Monday. We’ll also see about getting some pictures!
Cleveland also announced today that they will donate a portion of all CG11 W-Series wedge sales to the fight against breast cancer. A very cool idea for a very worthy cause. Talk to you soon!
