Hey everyone.. hope you all had a great day. Thanks to everyone that checked out our Titleist/Cobra Golf post yesterday. We had some great email asking about the new stuff and we’ll pass along more info as we get it! We’re working hard on some other new equipment posts right now so watch for those in the coming weeks. We’ve got a few odds and ends for you today so let’s get rolling…
The boys at Golfwrx have managed to round up a few pictures of some new TaylorMade irons that will be released in Asia in the near future. The R7 Forged and the R7 TP irons look really good… no word on if/when they could make their way to North America. We know TaylorMade has at least one new iron coming sometime this fall and that it will probably carry the R7 name. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see! We’ll post more info as we get it!
We get lots of questions about putters and they’re always the toughest to answer. It’s really tough to recommend a putter over the internet because they’re just so personal. We hear lots about Scotty Cameron, Bettinardi and Odyssey and for good reason… they make some amazing products. We’ve talked about Slighter… an excellent option for someone that wants to personalize their design. We’ve talked about Yes! too… an up and coming company that seems to gain more attention every week. One company that we haven’t talked about much is Bobby Grace. Bobby Grace has quietly amassed 24 worldwide victories and a cool $46 million in earnings in the past two and a half years. It should also be noted that the majority of the players using Bobby Grace putters don’t get paid for it either. The current Bobby Grace line features numerous high MOI mallet styles and a few traditional blades. Each putter is made from quality materials and I’ve found that most customers that pick one up to try end up leaving the store with it! Be sure to have a look at these next time you’re in your local shop. Check out the MacGregor website for more details!
Another win for the new Adams Idea Pro hybrid. The club was in the winner’s bag last week at the BC Open and also won three weeks ago at the Western Open. We’re getting a lot of email asking about the new Adams products. People are pretty excited for the company to release some of it’s Pro equipment! Watch for the Idea Pro hybrid and a matching iron this fall!
That’s it for now. Talk to you tomorrow!!
