Wow, it looks like it’s going to be a star-studded leaderboard heading into the weekend. Tiger has already tied a course record (65 set earlier in the day by Chris DiMarco) and is in the clubhouse at -12. Goosen is in at 8 under and Garcia and Els are both making a move. This should be a good weekend, now lets hope the wind starts blowing.

Did anybody else catch Woods and Faldo sharing a laugh on the 18th green? They weren’t very friendly for most of their two rounds together but do you think this feud was blown just a wee bit out of proportion?

Can somebody tell Shingo Katayama that the hat is not cool! Sure it was good for a laugh 5 years ago but this guy needs to realize that he is a professional golfer, he’s not in some kind of “cowboy cabaret”.

Sergio Garcia has switched putters and it seems to be working. Garcia has switched to a new TaylorMade mallet putter and is draining all kinds of putts this morning. If he can keep the putter going all weekend watch out for Garcia to finally win the big one.

Tiger is -12 and he has hit driver once over two rounds. Do you think anybody else is enjoying these hard fast fairways as much as he is?

Once again Ian Poulter has not disappointed us with his outfit selection. Bright red pants and a Union Jack shirt. Brilliant.
