We’ve been talking about various new clubs on the horizon and the start of June signals the arrival of numerous items…. including the new Cobra HS9 drivers. The Cobra website doesn’t have too much information on these new drivers but here are some of the basics…
The HS9 (HS = High Speed) will be available in 3 different 460CC models… the X,F and M. Sound a bit familiar? The X will be 0.5 degrees open, the F 1.5 degrees closed and the M 2.5 degrees closed. All three will feature Graphite Design YS shafts, Lamkin Torsion grips and composite crowns and sole plates. Cobra says these are even more forgiving than the current titanium Speed Series models. Watch for these in the next few weeks.
Joining the HS9 drivers will be a Cobra HS9 fairway wood. These will feature a maraging face and a composite crown. Looks like these will only be available in one style (not M,F and X) and 3 different lofts. Watch for these to have Graphite Design shafts and Lamkin grips as well.
It’s an exciting time for new products… the new TaylorMade ball is starting to make some waves and the Odyssey XG putters turning a few heads. As the new products roll in…. old products get blown out. Some of the best deals out there right now? Many online retailers are blowing out certain Hogan clubs right now. The C-S3 driver, C455 fairway woods and the BH-5 irons are priced to move! I recently discovered Rock Bottom Golf through a friend and they’ve got some great deals right now. Swing by and have a look!
