TaylorMade RAC OS On The Way Out?

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by. It’s been a long day and I’m in a bit of a rush but I do have a few odds and ends to get to. First off… welcome back to SirPuttsAlot. Sounds like you had a great time! Let’s get to it…

Looks like the TaylorMade RAC OS irons are on the way out. These irons took a bit of a price drop earlier in the year and now it looks like they’ll be replaced over the summer. My shop has been told that we should see a new iron within the next two months and that the OS will probably take one more dive in price. We didn’t get any specifics but I’d imagine that any replacement will feature the “R7″ name (maybe R7 OS) and some degree of Inverted Cone technology. The current TaylorMade RAC OS irons are a great club for the price right now. My shop has had a ton of requests for them. We’ll keep you updated.

I talked a bit about the Wilson Nc6 irons a few weeks ago and we’ve had a few people asking for Canadian release dates. Looks like these will hit the shelves mid-May. No word on an American release… Wilson Canada and Wilson U.S.A. often do their own things depending on consumer demand.

I saw the new Precept XP3 ball the other day. Think of this one as a juiced up Precept Laddie with a clear “crystal” cover. This ball should do really well… people seem to like the crystal-like cover and the Precept Laddie is one of the best balls on the market for slower swings. Precept is offering a free XM Satellite Radio with every dozen… a very unique promotion! Check out the Precept website for more details.

That’s all for today… I told you I was pressed for time! Thanks for all of the email and support. I’ll be back tomorrow so be sure to swing by again!
