Huge Weekend For Cobra Golf

Hello everyone! I’m in the middle of watching the Super Bowl so this one will be kind of brief. I’ve got Monday off so expect to see more of a post then.

It didn’t take long for Cobra Golf to get a win on the PGA Tour. J.B. Holmes won the FBR Open over the weekend… making him the first Cobra Staffer to win a tournament in 2006. I really like the way that Cobra has gone about creating their Tour stable… they have decided to sign younger, somewhat unproven players instead of dropping all of their cash into one established player. Camilo Villegas (another Cobra staffer) finished in a tie for second. I think it’s only a matter of time before we see Villegas in the winner’s circle too…

SMT Golf debuted their Lifetime Warranty Golf Glove at the Orlando Show and it has been very well received so far… it was picked by Sports Illustrated as one of the “Coolest New Products” at the Orlando PGA Show. The glove is made from New Zealand Possum Leather and customers can return it for a new one if anything should ever happen to it.

A bit of reader feedback to pass along in regards to my travel case post last week. One of our readers wrote in to let us know about the success he has had with the Nike Golf Club Carrying Case. He really likes the foam wrap Club Protection System that the bag uses… and it’s big enough to fit almost any golf bag. Also a thanks to one of our readers that emailed and mentioned the Stiff Arm. I added it into the post so you can read more about it there. I also didn’t talk about hybrid travel covers. These have become really popular with my customers… they like being able to just pop off the hard top and use the case as their golf bag. I’m thinking of doing a seperate post on hybrid travel cases so stay tuned!

That’s all for now. I’ll be back on Monday so be sure to come back and have a look! Thanks for the email and support…
