Nakashima Adds Lofts… Ernie On Callaway Website

Hey everyone… glad you could stop by. More odds and ends on the agenda for tonight. A couple of player signings have been announced and some new clubs have been introduced to the market. Let’s get to it!

First off… thanks to one of our readers for emailing in and mentioning that Ernie Els is now on the Callaway Golf website. No word on what Els will play (besides the HX Tour 56 golf ball) . We’d mentioned the rumors and now it’s become a bit more official. Thanks for the email!

Let’s stay with signings… Adams Golf has signed up and coming LPGA star Brittany Lang to a deal. Lang will play Adams clubs, wear their logo and carry their bag. A good signing for Adams… Lang is going to be a good one!

I saw a cool little press release from Ping today. The company now has 25 PGA Tour players under contract… the most ever for Ping Golf. The release mentioned that Bubba Watson, Chris DiMarco, Nick O’Hern, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Lee Westwood and Charles Warren all began the season with new multi-year agreements.

I talked a bit about Nakashima Golf at the PGA Show and now the company has announced that they have added a few more options to their HTEC driver line. Added to the mix are a right handed 13 degree, right handed 15 degree, left handed 9.5 degree and left handed 10.5 degree. The HTEC takes fitting to a whole new level and allows consumers to build their own club and then buy that exact club… something that is very unique. Most multiple shaft custom fit clubs are only for demo purposes… the actual consumer club is ordered from the factory. I was very impressed with Nakashima at the show. Quality stuff from a bunch of quality people! We’ll keep you updated with more Nakashima news as we get it.

That’s all for now. Thanks for dropping by. I’m hanging with Miss ShanksAlot and ShanksAlot Jr tonight… I’ll be on the email for a while so drop me a line! Talk to you later!
