We’re just days away from the start of the 2006 PGA season and there are some pretty big names jumping to different equipment companies. A few signings have already been announced with more to come.
Jim Furyk has now officailly signed with Srixon Golf… something we reported a while back. He’ll start off playing Srixon wedges and a Srixon golf ball but will eventually work his way into a set of Srixon irons too.
We’ve been talking a lot about Cobra Golf and their return onto the PGA Tour. I saw my Cobra guy today and he said that they have signed a few players but probably won’t announce anything for another week or so. Looks like they’ll have a nice list of Tour players… including long hitter Geoff Ogilvy, Ian Poulter, Kevin Na, Camilo Villegas and PGA Q-School winner John Holmes. A very nice mix for Cobra!
There have been some Darren Clarke to Nike rumors floating around the internet but nothing has been confirmed yet. We’ll keep you updated.
