The press releases and news are coming in fast and furious now so we’ve got more for you this afternoon. We’ll start with some news from PeakVision Sports…

We talked about PeakVision Sports eyewear last summer and even got to try their patented Dual-Zone technology. This technology is really cool… the upper part of the lens is like a normal sunglass lens while the amber colored bottom helps read the contours in the greens and fairways. PeakVision has now added the Edge model… it’s a bit more sporty than some of their other styles. You’ll see a lot more of the Edge come February… PeakVision Sports has been chosen as the official eyewear of the Golf Channel’s Big Break V. PeakVision has also signed a few more players to their endorsement list. Joining Billy Andrade, Scott McCarron, David Feherty and Bruce Fleisher are LPGA up-and-comers Moira Dunn, Mikaela Parmlid and Heather Bowie. Also be on the lookout for the new GR-4 frame very soon!

Dunning Golf has signed Bob Estes to an apparel agreement. I really like Dunning Golf apparel… they make very classy, tradition clothing that is very durable. Check out their products on the Dunning Golf website. There might be a few more apparel signings on the way this week… one of which could involve a very high profile “Top 20″ player. I’ll let you know a bit more as the week goes on.

There have been all sorts of John Daly to Maxfli rumors floating around the internet lately. These have been fueled by pictures of Daly wearing a Maxfli hat and carrying a Maxfli bag. There hasn’t been any comment from TaylorMade/Maxfli on the issue but I did find it interesting that Focus Golf Systems (Dunlop) has officially obtained exclusive worldwide rights to the John Daly trademark for marketing their clubs, bags and accessories. Interesting…

Watch for a new Cleveland CG4 Tour iron coming in the very near future. These should be pretty nice and a bit different than the current CG4 irons… featuring a slightly more compact head, shorter blade length, reduced offset, weight placed to lower ball flight and of course the soft feel of Cleveland’s CMM material. The CG4 irons will also feature Dynamic Gold steel shafts as a stock option. Watch for these very soon… they will be out before the HiBore (which is scheduled for an April release). I’ll keep you updated.

That’s all for now… we’ll have lots more during the week so stay tuned! Thanks for all the support and the kind emails. I’m off to enjoy a nice dinner with the parents. Have a great night!
