Hello everyone and thanks for dropping by. The Orlando PGA Show is now underway and there is lots to talk about. It isn’t much fun sitting at home watching everything happen but our budget just didn’t allow for an Orlando trip. SirPuttsAlot and I are already planning to attend next year though! Let’s get to it!

The Callaway Golf website has been updated with a few new products. Be sure to head over there and check out the new X460 Driver, X Fairway Woods and FT-Hybrid. I’m really excited to try the FT-Hybrid… it looks great! Watch for reviews of all the new Callaway equipment in the spring. Odyssey Golf has introduced their SRT putter line too. We saw these at the Las Vegas PGA Show and they are basically Odyssey’s high MOI putters. Make sure you give these a try… they look a bit different but actually feel really nice.

Speaking of updated websites… the MacGregor Golf website has been updated too. The company has really come out with some nice stuff… and now they just need consumers to try it.

Watch for a Sonartec press conference tomorrow introducing the LS-99 fairway woods. These are specifically designed for seniors and ladies. They are being touted as the most forgiving woods in the whole Sonartec line and are designed to hit the ball high. The ladies version will be available with the new pink Aldila NV shaft too. Watch for these to hit shelves in the middle of February.

The Bettinardi to Mizuno rumors have been around for a few weeks and now it’s official. Mizuno Golf USA has announced that they are teaming up with the putter guru to create a line of milled putters. There will be two different series… the A-Series will be face balanced, MOI style putters. The C-Series will feature more traditional putters…. with both series available in April. This partnership automatically thrusts Mizuno right into the high end putter market and gives the company some serious putter credibility.

That’s all for now. We’ve got more news to pass along and there is some more news still to be announced so don’t be surprised if you see a rare Friday night post from me! Be sure to check back and have a look. Thanks for the email and we’ll talk to you real soon.
