On behalf of everyone here at SirShanksAlot.com I’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and the best of the holiday season. SirPutts is out buying gifts for all of our readers right now so expect to see something in the mail very soon. I don’t know what he’s got planned but I know he’s got lots of room on his Visa. Hopefully he finds something good… the glow in the dark tie rack he got for me last year was a bit interesting!
The holiday season gives us a chance to look back at the year that was. 2005 was a really fun time for SirPutts and I… the site kept us very busy but we enjoyed every minute of it. We met a lot of new people and learned lots about an industry that we thought we knew everything about. We also got to go on a “business trip”… ok so it was a trip to Vegas that included about 5 hungover hours at the PGA Expo but the term “business trip” sounds cool.
Thanks to everyone that helped make 2005 such a great season for us… Kevin and the folks at Innovex Golf, Scott and the folks at Peak Vision Sports, everyone at Golfwrx, the guys at MyPutterCover.com, Donny and the boys at Advantage Football and all of our industry contacts and sources (I was going to name all of you but I don’t know if you want everyone knowing who you are…). I would also like to say hello to all of our readers in the Gulf Coast Region. I hope things are starting to get back to normal and that you can enjoy the holidays with friends and family.
The most important people that we need to thank are our families, our friends and our readers. The “little site that could” would have died off long ago if it wasn’t for the support that all of you have given us. It’s sometimes really hard to write posts and email after a long day at work but a quick look in our email box gives us motivation to continue on. We don’t really make any money doing this but it is pretty cool to know that we have helped thousands and thousands of golfers make the right equipment choices.
I guess I should probably get back to doing Christmas things now… tis the season. Best wishes to all of you and we’ll talk to you real soon.
