Cobra Speed LD And Speed Pro Launched

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! Hope you all had a great weekend… too bad it’s over. We’re one week closer to the golf season in our part of the world so it makes each Monday a bit easier to swallow. Cobra Golf has launched a new series of woods that feature high MOI without the square.

Cobra LD F 1

The Speed LD (LD stands for Limit Dimensions) drivers push the limits when it comes to head length and width. These also feature one of the largest faces on the market. Some quick facts…

– Available in LD F, LD M Straight Neck and LD M Offset
– Stock Aldila shafts
– March 1st ship date
– $375 USD retail

Cobra LD FW

The Speed LD line will also include fairway woods. These will be available to match all of the different types of drivers (F,M Straight Neck and M Offset). These will be offered in both steel and graphite.

Cobra Speed Pro 1

The Speed Pro drivers were designed with help from the Cobra Tour Staff. They look more like previous Titleist drivers and have more of a pear shape to them. Some quick facts…

– Available in 2 different models… the D (deep face, high launch, low spin) and the S (shallow face, high launch, low-mid spin)
– Features a weight screw that allows Cobra to alter the swing weight at the factory
– Stock Aldila shafts
– March 1st ship date
– $480 USD retail

Cobra Pro FW

The Pro will also be accompanied by a matching fairway wood. Again… offered in both steel and graphite.

Cobra continues to pump out quality stuff and I’m very curious to see how consumers will respond to these. It’s good to see they are keeping their “game improvement” focus but exciting to see some clubs designed for the better player as well.

That’s all for tonight. Thanks for stopping by and we’ll talk to you soon!
