Wilson is out to be the “iron company for all” and thier new line reflects this idea. Their current line features two irons designed for the better player (Pi5 and Fi5) and one iron designed for the higher handicapper (Di5). But what about the mid handicapper? You know… the golfer that has a decent swing and wants some forgiveness but doesn’t want the “bulk” that is found in many of today’s game improvement offerings. Wilson has designed the new Ci6 for this type of player.

The Ci6 is a cast stainless steel iron that offers a midsized design. Both the top line and sole are fairly thin and this aids in the “traditional” look. The iron will also feature a small undercut and a low center of gravity. The Elastomeric Damping insert in the cavity reduces vibration and gives the club a more solid feel.

The Ci6 will be available in both True Temper Taper Tech C1 steel and Nano Tech graphite. Watch for these in early 2006.
