Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend and had a chance to enjoy the football, the golf and the commercials yesterday. Another great sports weekend is on the way with the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the San Diego Chargers Open Practice… I mean the Pro Bowl just days away.

It was a good weekend for MacGregor Golf with their staffer Aaron Baddeley taking the FBR. Badds used MacGregor M675 irons and MacGregor Forged Wedges in his win. It’s kind of refreshing to see some of the other companies having success early in 2007. Don’t forget that Nickent Golf is getting the most out of their money with Jeff Quinney getting a lot of TV time over the past few weeks.

We got some really positive feedback on the MacGregor article that I wrote in Orlando. One of our readers wanted a bit more insight into the overall look of the NVG2 Draw woods. The Draw line looks a lot like the current NVG2. The big difference obviously lies in the weight that the company has moved to aid in slice reduction. Side by side the clubs are almost identical although the Draw is 15CC bigger than the standard NVG2. A fun fact… you’d think the Draw would be more closed than the standard but it’s actually the opposite… the 10.5 and 11.5 degree NVG2 are 0.5 degrees more closed than the NVG2 Draw in the same lofts. Shows you how much the extra sole weight can do…

The new Titleist Pro V1x got the win in the ball category. You’ll see this one in stores very soon. The Titleist website actually has pictures of the two new Pro V1’s and the two new Titleist drivers… all set to launch in the coming weeks.

That’s all for now… short and sweet. We’ll be back tomorrow! Talk to you then!
