Hey everyone… thanks for stopping by today! A few odds and ends today so I think it will be a random topics post. Let’s get started!

We have talked a lot about the new Callaway Fusion FT-3 driver and why not… it just won the U.S. Open! It’s now officially up on the Callaway website. The Big Bertha Titanium fairway woods are also up on the site. This club really flew in under the radar and we have talked about it a bit but information has been very limited. It’s basically a titanium version of the current Big Bertha fairway wood and it uses Callaway’s proven VFT technology to create a very hot face. I asked my rep about this club today and he told me that it doesn’t exist. Needless to say… we haven’t ordered any yet. I’ll keep you updated.

Next up… the new driver from Innovex Golf. I have talked a bit about this new club and there are some pretty cool computer generated pictures of it on the Innovex website in the “Driver” section. Looks like it will be called the Innovex CFD driver. We’ll have more information on this club soon and you can expect us to review it too!

We get a few questions about using graphite shafts in irons. There seems to be a misconception that graphite iron shafts are for higher handicappers and those players that can’t generate high swing speeds. Ever heard of K.J. Choi? Thought so. He uses graphite shafts in all of his woods and irons. Check out Matrix Composite Corporation to learn more about his shafts. Don’t be scared of graphite! It could probably help a lot golfers if they gave it a chance.

Speaking of shafts… Michael Campbell used True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts in his irons during his win at the U.S. Open. Chalk another win up for one of the most successful steel shafts in the world. Campbell also used a Aldila NVTM 85 graphite shaft. Fujikura won the wood shaft count last week and it always seems like they are near the top of that category!

That’s all for now. SirPuttsAlot and I are both working on some dfferent things right now so expect some cool reviews/articles in the coming days. Thanks to all that have emailed us. SirPuttsAlot is working hard to reply to all of your questions and comments. Keep the emails coming and we’ll keep pushing out the information! Take care!
