Justin Leonard has joined Nike Golf. His deal is for basically everything; clubs, ball, glove, bag, footwear and all apparel. This is a great signing for Nike and they are hoping for some big things from the 1997 Open Championship winner. Watch for Leonard to play the Ignite driver, Nike blades, and the Nike One Black ball. One of our readers sent us an email about Justin so I hope this is an answer to your question. You had a few more in that email and SirPuttsAlot is working on some answers for you.

Well sure enough, the day after I mention TaylorMade might have a new Rescue club word comes that the Rescue Fairway club is taking a dive in price. This is a pretty good indication that something new is coming. Check out the Rescue Fairway if you haven’t already… it is a good club and the price should be great.

A few notes from today’s first round of the Mercedes Championship… Stuart Appleby is playing all Bridgestone clubs now (the J33 line), and Vijay Singh is indeed playing a Cleveland Launcher COMP.

Speaking of Cleveland Golf, here is a list of some of the products that they will debut at the Orlando PGA show… Launcher COMP fairway woods, the HALO utility club (it is actually a really cool looking hybrid.. sort of like the Callaway Heavenwood) and the CG2 irons. I have reported on the CG2’s in the past and now it looks like they will finally be available. They look like a Hogan iron if you ask me.

Never Compromise Golf has also added a few new products to their line. The new Speed Control Putters come in different models to fit different speeds of greens. It is kind of like the Odyssey thing a few years back with the different colored inserts. There is also a Milled Series… the same type used by Vijay Singh.

And a special thanks to my partner SirPuttsAlot. He is away on a business trip but still does all his writing at night in his hotel room. Wow.. what dedication! I’ll buy the beers next time…. no wait… I bought last time!
