Well it sure didn’t take Bridgestone Golf long to get a win. Stuart Appleby is pretty much 100% Bridgestone (he has Titleist wedges and a Yes! putter). I had a question about the hybrid/driving iron club that he was using. It is the Bridgestone Airmuscle. Some of you may be familiar with the Tourstage Airmuscle. Well don’t be confused because they are the same club. When it hits shelves in North America it will carry the Bridgestone name…. part of the change from Tourstage and Precept.
Srixon has picked up another PGA player. Tim Petrovic will now play Srixon irons, Srixon ball and will also use a Srixon bag, hat and glove. If you missed my News and Rumors talking about Srixon (January 4, 2005) I was talking about how the company is going after the “B Player” and up and coming guys. Tim Petrovic is an excellent example.
Ok I had to mention this just because I love the name so much. DSP Golf Concepts will be introducing the Sudden D’Eath Putter in Orlando. It is a center-shafted blade and you can see it at www.golfbysuddendeath.com .
SirPuttsAlot was reading about a new golf ball the other day. It is a ball by NanoDynamics. The company has designed a ball where the majority of it’s weight is towards the outside. This helps produce a straighter ball flight because it reduces spin. The ball will be released at the Orlando show. Check out www.ndmxgolf.com for more details.
