Lots Of Fun Odds And Ends

I hit the Callaway Big Bertha 454 today and I’m in love! This thing is the real deal and the price won’t scare away too many people either. It is the only driver that I would even put in the same “forgiveness league” as the Cobra 400SZ and 440SZ. I was all set to order …

Element 21 Golf is going to have some cool stuff at the Orlando Show. The company uses E21 Metal, a metal that has the highest strength to weight ratio of any materials used today, in their new irons. They also have a discovered a way of redirecting vibration to actually work in favor of the golfer. Check out www.e21golf.com .

Watch for a few new clubs from HiPPO Golf too. They are set to release the 460CC ITX2 driver and matching fairway woods. Wow… HiPPO releasing a really big driver? Go figure!

And the new stuff continues…. KZG’s new PC-III is a cast combo set that the company claims to have the same feeling of a forged iron. I have hit some of the KZG stuff before and they make a pretty decent product. Check them out at www.kzgolf.com .

I got an email today from a reader wanting to know about a good place to get some work done on clubs. He has an older set of irons that he wants to get regrooved, refinished, rebuilt etc. I have used Golfsmith in the past for some refinishing and they did a good job. I haven’t used them in a while so I don’t know what they are like now. Let me know if you know of any really good places and I can pass them on to him…… try to keep them in North America! Send me an email at [email protected] and title it “Club Repairs”. Thanks for all your help!!
