The U.S. Open is about to start so here are some quick picks and who to watch.
Like always the golf course looks to be set up brutally tough this year. Here is guessing right now that the winning score is +7 for the week. The winner is going to have to be mentally tough and be able to keep the ball in play off the tee. I don't know if anyone fits that description better than Jim Furyk. He has the game to win here and should be hungry after his near-miss last year.
Geoff Ogilvy is a guy who I would love to see win again. He is quickly starting to establish himself as one of the elite players in golf.
I also think Stewart Cink could be a sleeper pick. He putts well and has the strength to fight through some of the rough.
