Mizuno MP-37 Iron Review

In an industry where the trend is to make golf clubs bigger, more forgiving, and more for the beginner, it is refreshing to know that a company like Mizuno still offers a wide array of "players" clubs.

Mizuno irons have long been coveted for their looks and feel and the MP-37 doesn't disappoint.

The MP-37 is a forged muscle-back iron. It is designed only for the best ball-strikers who demand the highest precision available in an iron. The MP-37 features a sleek, compact head designed to enhance a player's ability to work the ball but actually provides a slightly higher trajectory than most muscle-back irons. It is created using Mizuno's Grain Flow Forging process to give it a soft, solid feel that few other clubs can match.

For a player demanding the utmost in feel and workability there are very few companies that can match Mizuno. From my own personal experience and good golfers I have talked to, there might not be another iron that feels as good as the MP-37. Although it is not quite as forgiving as the MP-33 iron offered by Mizuno, the MP-37 is quickly finding its way into the bags of many better amateur and tour players. After all, if you are looking for forgiveness then this iron is not designed for you. Mizuno also is willing to sell partial sets which means you as a customer have the ability to make up your own combo set. I have sold many sets to customers who will use the MP-37 for their shorter irons and go to the more forgiving MP-30 or even MX-23 to get the most out of their long irons.
