The new i20 fairway woods had few things to improve upon compared to the i15’s, if player feedback was any indication. Designers were able to move weight around to improve MOI, and reduce spin off impact. Once again, designed for better players, this new design is geared towards players looking to work the ball. This new design is available in 14, 15 and 17 degrees and features the TFC 707F or Project X Black shaft. MSRP $255.
The new hybrids, which are geared towards better players looking for more control over ball flight, trajectory and spin have a very low center of gravity aimed to help golfers get the ball airborne quickly with a soft landing. These new hybrids are available in 17, 20, 23 degrees, with TFC 707F and Project X Black shaft options. MSRP – $210.
Plenty of pics and details of both clubs below. Enjoy!
Is the face angle open like on the I15 or is it neutral
Hi Ben – on these models the face angle is neutral. Ping deliberately moved away from the open face on the i20 line.
