Good afternoon everyone. We’ve got a few odds and ends to get to… Callaway has added a new member to their tour roster, TaylorMade is showing off a fancy new tour truck and Cobra scores a LPGA star. Let’s get to it!
Callaway Golf has added long bomber J.B. Holmes to their tour staff. Holmes will play a full bag of Callaway equipment and will also sport their hat and golf bag. Here’s a cool fact from the Callaway press release – J.B. played on his high school golf team as a third grader.
Sticking with endorsement news… Cobra Golf has announced the signing of Anna Nordqvist. Nordqvist has been a Puma staff member since her rookie season so this equipment contract isn’t a huge shocker. Here’s what Anna will have in her bag… S3 9.5° Driver with Mitsubishi Bassarra Hawk 53g Regular flex shaft, S3 Fwy 15° with Graphite Design DI 6S shaft, Baffler Rail 3/H with Aldila NV 75S shaft and S2 Forged irons 4-PW with Nippon 1130 R shafts.
TaylorMade is showing off their fancy new white tour truck this week in San Diego. The all white color scheme is helping to promote the company’s new (and white) R11 and SuperFast 2.0 drivers. At the rate TaylorMade changes drivers, expect the truck to be back in the paint shop in a few weeks.
Speaking of TaylorMade… check out their Twitpic feed. They’ve got some cool shots from the Farmers Insurance Open. Here’s a few… including a shot of the white truck…
