Cleveland Golf 2011- CG16 Irons

Source: Cleveland Golf – CG16 Tour Black Pearl & Satin Finish Irons

SirShanksAlot Comments: We will have to try out these Tour irons, remind me of the old Cleveland TA2’s.  Personally, I wish they would have went with a less colourful and flashy back-plate.  The price is definitely right. Rarely will you find a nice set of blade-like irons under $1K. CG16 Irons look solid as well for the game-improvement category.

CG16 BLACK PEARL IRONS

PRODUCT OVERVIEW : CG16  BLACK PEARL IRONS ($699 Steel, $799 Graphite)

The CG16 irons are designed with a lighter overall club weight and longer club length for maximum distance. The large cavity back, with its full undercut, stretches the center of gravity low and deep to optimize launch angle and significantly improve forgiveness. The large, thin face allows for increased COR and maximum ball speed that will produce distance that competes with any iron set in the market – but with increased control. Available with lightweight steel or graphite shafts, the CG16 irons are offered in either a Black Pearl or Satin Chrome finish.
