New Titleist Pro-V1 for 2011

Hey everyone, and thanks for stopping by… Today, we’ll take a little closer look at the new Titleist Pro-V1 for 2011.  There’s been a fair bit of buzz about this ball, and not too much fact.  The video and pics will give you some of the best details about this new ball, and I’ve included what some people are saying about them below (rumors).  In my opinion, as a Pro-V1 player, it’s hard to improve on the latest model, but from what I hear Titleist did exactly that – I’m looking forward to trying this ball out on the links soon.

Facts:

• Will maintain the three-piece design (see the video below)pro v1x 2011 ttitleist

• A change in dimple patterns on the face

• New alignment stamp (see pictures)

• The ball made its first competitive debut on October 9th, during the first round of the McGladrey’s Classic

• The ball has already had monumental success on tour with wins from Padraig Harrington, Steven Bowditch, and Michio Matsumura

• Thousands of sleeves have been sent out to Team Titleist members in solid white cases. (see Titleist’s Pro-V1 Prototype vid here)

• New cover material that has improved durability, especially on wedge shots

• Improved stability in the wind

• Increased distance off the tee

• Similar spin capabilities to the previous models

• Solid feel off the driver and long irons, softer feel on wedge shots. Better feel off the irons that the 2009 model

• As true as ever on the greens
