USGA Testing – New Clubs for 2011?

Hey everyone, and thanks for stopping by.  After having a peak onto the USGA list of conforming clubs this morning, I noticed some very interesting additions.  Amongst others, Mizuno, Bridgestone, Macgregor and also Maruman Golf all were having some new driver models tested.  One thing to keep in mind about these clubs is that sometimes these clubs make it to market, other times not.  So you never know what you’re going to get.  Regardless, here is what we do know…

Bridgestone Golf – Tourstage X-Drive Type 415 (top) and Type 455 (bottom) tested in 9.5 degrees.

Maruman Golf – Majesty “Joy is BMW” Driver Model – you may recall our post last week about the new series from Maruman Golf.  These clubs are at the tippy-top of high-end, and perhaps their clientel will see nothing wrong with the subtle marketing of BMW on these clubs – what do you think?

MacGregor Mactec DS101 – Tested in 9, 10 and 11 degrees.

Mizuno tested the JPX 800 (bottom) and JPX 800S (Japan – top) Models in 9.5, 10.5 and 9.5 respectively. Who knows, will the JPX 800 make it to market? Looks pretty sweet to me.
