Hello, welcome to another Backspin post… Let’s get to it!

• Srixon recently released a patent that has some golf rumor enthusiasts wondering if this is Jim Furyk’s answer to long search for the perfect driver. For Jim’s sake, I hope they’re wrong… This looks very similar in shape to an older Never Compromise putter in fact…

New Ping Putter• The USGA has been quite busy lately… you may not know, but each year they test over 2,500 golf clubs and over 1,000 golf balls. Lots of competition out there…

Thinking of buying a golf-side property? Better think again… your proximity to a golf course could inflate the price of your home by over 70%, and most courses nowadays don’t even offer a free membership with a home purchase…

These clubs remind me of some Hogan’s a few years back (sans forged, obviously), but they are definitely worth a look. The VP of operations Bill Holowaty says “We are confident the CB-501s will quickly become your new best friend…”, something we could all use out on the course. Check them out.

• I’m not too sure about this one, Clearview putters has come out with a “clear-view” putter – it’s completely see-through, with the exception of the aim lines on the top. The company claims it supposed to help your aim… and view of that bug your squishing.
