Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I'm back from a non-website, non-golf (kind of) family vacation in California. There wasn't any golf played on the trip but we did managed to catch the final round of the Buick Invitational.
We're starting to recruit our 2009 Advisory Team to help with our upcoming golf club reviews. We really liked the input that we got from our 2008 team and we hope that we can get similar feedback this year. It looks like we're going to attempt to do all of our golf club reviews at once instead of spacing them out over a few months. We find it's too hard to keep up over the summer so I think we're just going to buckle down and do them all in the span of a week or two.
We're looking for people that have a real interest in new clubs and have had the chance to try some of the newest equipment at a pro shop, demo day or out on the course. You don't need to be an expert… we just want some honest opinions. It doesn't take a lot of time to fill out our online form either. We'd love to pay our Advisory Team members for their services but… well… we don't have a budget. Trust me… if you're looking to make millions, don't become a golf blogger.
We're also looking for a few retailers to join in the fun. The process is the same… just fill out an online form with your opinions on various clubs and let us know what is selling and what isn't.
Interested? Drop us a line!
Another great way to get involved is to rate clubs that we've already reviewed. At the end of every golf club review you'll see a form that allows you to submit your thoughts on the club being reviewed. Your opinions and grade will be saved and then all of our readers can see what you think. Give one a try! We've had a few people ask what the colored bars on each review mean. The orange bars indicate our rating and the green bars indicate the average reader rating. The math is simple… more people leaving their opinions and ratings means more information for all of our readers.
That's all for now. We're working on rounding up some odds and ends although it's been pretty quiet. Thanks for all of your email and support!
