Adams continues its reign as one of the market leaders in hybrid-iron sets. Their latest release is no exception. terms of technology, the hybrids are the real show stoppers. These hybrids feature the now common velocity slot technology, which is said to produce better face deflection at impact resulting in an increase of 3% over last years models (resulting in 13 yards more distance). These slots run from the top of the club to the sole and are covered by the TPU badges. These hybrids also feature a new heat treatment which helped create an incredibly thin and responsive face. Tungsten weights also help get the ball airborne in a hurry.
The set consists of 3 hybrids and 5 irons made from 8620 carbon steel. The sets are available with True Temper shafts for $799 or $88 for Mitsubishi Rayon’s Bassara graphite shafts. They should be available on say by the end of the month.
