Hey everyone… thanks for stopping by and checking out the site today. Not a ton of stuff going on right now but there is enough that I can put a small post together. We’ve had some good emails lately so thanks to all that have dropped us a line.

The Cobra SZ woods have gone down in price. We knew this was going to happen but we didn’t know exactly when. Most online retailers have lowered prices and most local retailers should follow in the next week. If you are in need of a forgiving driver or some easy to hit fairway woods… give the Cobra SZ woods a try. They are probably the best bang for your buck right now.

KZG Golf has added a new game improvement club to their line with the introduction of the OC-1 iron. This oversized cast iron is designed for steel shafts and is actually a lot lighter than most irons on the market. We get a lot of questions about KZG golf equipment and they make some very good stuff. Check out the KZG Golf website for more details.

A cool story from PeakVision Sports… a company that we did a profile on a while back. PeakVision is donating Dual-Zone eyewear to Salvation Army volunteers helping out with the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. The Dual-Zone shades that we tested over the summer were great… SirPutts won’t give them back to me and he wears them all the time. Check out the PeakVision Sports website and have a look at this exciting new technology in eyewear!

Speaking of Hurricane Katrina… Phil Mickelson will donate all of his earnings from this week OR $250 000… whichever is greater… to the U.S. Golf Hurrican Katrina Relief Fund.

The Titleist 735.CM irons are starting to arrive at my shop. I’ve had a lot of people hitting them and I think it is safe to say that my customers love them. I’ve been hitting them too and they are probably my new favorite Titleist iron. They look great, feel great and are actually fairly forgiving on the long irons. We’ll do a review once we get more people to hit them but it looks like Titleist has a real winner here!

We have also had a few emails about the Frankly Frog putter. I just talked to SirPuttsAlot and he is writing a post about the putter that will go up over the weekend. I’d never seem the Frankly Frog before but it looks like an interesting idea. Watch for that post this weekend!

The Nike SasQuatch driver and fairway woods are up on tgw.com. The driver will retail at $299.99 US and the fairway woods will go for $179.99 – $199.99 US when they are released on November 1st.

We are still getting a lot of email about the guys that put actual pictures on balls. I talked with one of the guys today and he mentioned that some of our readers have placed orders. You’ll really enjoy your golf balls! They thank all of our readers for the support. They are in the process of setting up a website and we’ll let you know when it is up and running.

That’s all for today… only a few more sleeps until we leave for Vegas! It will be nice to get away for a few days and we should have some really good posts during our trip. We’ll be talking to a few different industry people and should have some great info for everyone. Stay tuned for that. Again… as always… thanks for the emails and all your support. Have a great day and we’ll talk to you real soon.
