I had someone ask me about a limited edition Titleist staff bag the other day and yes there is one out for Christmas. It is a white bag with the signatures of Ernie Els, Adam Scott and Davis Love III on it. Someone told me there is a silver one as well but I haven’t seen it so I don’t know. Titleist only made a limited number of them and each bag has a number on the bottom.So here is the deal with the bag…. we (as in golf retailers) had the chance to get this bag as a promo item if we ordered a certain number of Titleist golf balls for the holidays. We also had to sign an agreement saying that we would hang on to the bag until January 1st, 2005. After that we are allowed to sell it or do whatever we want with it. It has shown up on Ebay already if you want to do a search and see it. Watch for these things to get scooped up by Titleist fans once 2005 arrives!
Greg Norman was not using his MacGregor Bag at the Franklin Templeton Shootout on the weekend. I didn’t get a chance to see what he was hitting but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was using his new MacGregor clubs.
Well that’s it for now…. the season is winding down and it is getting a tad slow. I should have the Great Club Comparison Round #2 up on Monday and am working on a few reviews too. I saw SirPuttsAlot’s next article and it is good as usual….. that will be up on Friday. I also added a section for links.
