I saw all of the new Dunlop stuff today. They have expanded the LoCo family and the LoCo putter caught my eye. It has a very “Futura” look to it and should do pretty well. It is nice to see a company like Dunlop back again and even nicer to see that they gave John Daly a chance!

I mentioned the new MacGregor satin irons the other day. I can now confirm that they will be called the M675. I will see if I can get a release date for you in the next few days.

MacGregor also has a new driver in the works. The MacTec NVG will begin shipping in December but will officially be launched at the Orlando PGA Show in January. The NVG features four tungsten weight screws (combined weight of 22 grams) positioned in such a way to produce a high ball flight and maximum forgiveness. The driver is made of beta titanium and is 435CC. I really like what they have done in terms of face closure. The 7.5 and 8.5 degree models have open faces, the 9.5 is neutral and the 10.5 and 11.5 are closed.
