Just in case you can't get enough Tiger Woods… you can now take him with you wherever you go. EA Mobile has launched Tiger Woods PGA Tour for iPhone and iPod Touch. I've seen some screen shots and the game looks pretty cool. Check the EA Mobile site for more details or get it on iTunes.

Lots of Twitter and Facebook buzz during the U.S. Open. Wilson Golf was busy promoting their new FG Tour Iron (used by Ricky Barnes), people wondered if Lucas Glover's Nike putter (Nike simply calls it a "prototype putter") will come to retail, Ian Poulter was busy Twittering about his experience and people were amazed by David Duval's solid play. Props to all of the golf bloggers and media that were at the event and used Facebook and Twitter. They did a great job giving us a behind the scenes look at what was going on. Nice job everyone!
Cleveland Golf is giving away irons through an interesting promotion. Anyone that buys a set of in-line Cleveland irons between now and December 2009 can trade them in for any new Cleveland irons between January 2010 and December 2011. Full promotion details can be found here. Somehow I don't think my trusty Cleveland TA3's (circa 2000) apply. I don't think I'd trade them anyways.
